KALATATTVA is an initiative to experiment, explore & experience arts & yoga as a holistic study & process, enabling one to enhance one’s personality to the fullest potential & ability. We believe that arts hold transformative potential.We aim to create collaborative programs, which are innovative, relevant & cater to diverse cultural experiences that both reflect & expand the community’s interests.Our goal is to present the community a diverse performing arts programming & education, collaborating with artists, organizations, schools & the community to encourage the creation, appreciation & understanding of the arts.We, at KALATATTVA arts & yoga pvt ltd., seek to nurture a vibrant arts community, foster artistic excellence & bring people together for powerful shared experiences that inspire a creative exchange of ideas. we aim to make performing arts available to every section of the society; to become a creative force & an educational resource for the community; & to harness the economic vitality of the arts.
A performance artist, Yoga teacher & an educator, Shashikala Reddy founded KalaTattva in 2017 with an intention to explore, experiment , study & inculcate various aspects of performance arts, yoga & body work not just as a form of physical exercise & entertainment but as a holistic approach for the well being of mind & body.
Shashikala is an artist with grace, aptitude, dedication, discipline & love for her work. Her approachable & friendly personality makes her a favourite teacher/coach amongst her practitioners & clients. Her ability to understand the requirements of her clients & work with spontaneity is a plus point.
Learnings so far:
Shashikala is trained in various dance forms like Bharatanatyam (Mudrika foundation for performing arts, Swastika School of dance & music), contemporary(Attakallari centre for movement arts, Shiamak Davar institute of performing arts) Latin-American & Modern (studio 5678 & I can Dance 2) Improvisation & Authentic movement (SMART, Katie Duck(Amsterdam),Tripura Kashyap).
